Holi or the Festival of Colours, is a spring festival celebrated by Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains & countries with large Indic diaspora populations such as India, Nepal, Srilanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Suriname, Guyana, South Africa, Trinidad, Mauritius, Fiji – known as Dolyatra (Doul Jatra) or Basanta-Utsav (“spring festival”).
